Eid Ul Adha Jamaat Times
Eid ul Adha will be on Sunday 10th Dul Hajj / 10th July 2022.
1st Eid Ul Adha Jamaat at 05.00 AM brothers only.
2nd Eid Ul Adha Jamaat at 9.30 AM fo brothers & Sisters.
3rd Eid Ul Adha Jamaat at 11 AM for brothers & Sisters.
SUNNAH ACTS FOR EID AL-ADHA
As with any important religious occasion, Muslims follow the example (Sunnah) of Prophet Muhammad
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and practice various Sunnah acts on Eid al-Adha.
Sunan of the Day of Eid al-Adha:
- To rise early.
- To clean the teeth with Miswak.
- To have a Masnun bath / shower / Ghusl.
- To dress in one’s best garments in an Islamic manner.
- To use itr / Apply fragrance / perfume, Alcohol free.
- To avoid eating anything before Eid Salah.
- To go early for Eid Salah.
- To go walking for Eid Salah.
- To read the Takbirat of Tashriq in an audible voice (men only) while going for Eid Salah.
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar, Allaah akbar, wa Lillaah il-hamd (Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is most Great, there is no god but Allaah, Allaah is Most great, Allaah is most great, and to Allaah be praise).
- Takbeer on the day of Eid
This is one of the greatest Sunnahs on the day of Eid, see above for Takbeer. - To use different routes to and from the place of Eid Salah.
- To eat the meat of Udhiyah from one’s own offering after the Eid Salah.
- Perform Eid prayer in congregation.
- Connect with friends and family (where safe to do so in person/virtually).
- Exchange gifts.
- Performing the ritual of Qurbani is a mandatory requirement upon every eligible person worthy of many blessings.
